A first journey by camel...

• Install first the software

Although it may be instructive to install CAMEL on a personal laptop, Cosmological Parameter EStimation (CPE) is generally CPU demanding, so you should better work at some computing center.

• for cc-in2p3 users, you may begin directly with the CAMEL install however you need to define first some Ccin2p3Setup according to your groupt
• for NERSC users see NERSCSetup
• for other sites you may need to install first some external libraries

• Then you should familiarize with where things are and how to build a correct parameter file.

Note that each release contains a parameter file with all the likehoods. You may have a look at many others. A complete list of all the availabale likelihoods is also available .

• Now you may wish to familiarize with the CAMEL executables, and reproduce a full use case
• Now you begin to understand how things work are are getting more ambitious: you would like to add your own data
